A man who was given a second dose of Cialis for prostate cancer has been sentenced to six months in prison, a low court has heard.
David Danson, 41, from Leeds, was found guilty of conspiring to traffic in counterfeit Viagra, and he also pleaded guilty to importing and selling counterfeit versions of the drugs.
The court heard the co-conspirator, Peter Tormey, was found guilty of three counts of trafficking in counterfeit goods and five counts of trafficking in counterfeit goods.
Tormey was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment and ordered to pay a £6,500 fine, and the other defendants to pay a £2,000 fine.
